During the Spring, we are always excited to work on events that are filled with lighter fabrics and airy vibes. This year will be especially refreshing because florals have been all the  rage on the runway. Whether small intricate designs that are one part boheme and one part prairie girl, or large bold patterns, florals and paisleys are everywhere.

Below are three inspired tablescapes, and some “Get The Look” ideas for creating your own interpretation. While Mosaic rents linens, for this GTL we have partnered with Glassworks because some of our clients prefer to buy their china, glass and silver. No matter how you choose to make these looks your own, playing with floral patterns in event design is always a fun idea.

We love how a simple tablesetting on a veranda can conjure a feeling of “spring in the air”. This table combines bright pinks and bold greens, offsetting them with natural neutrals. Nestled beneath beneath an arbor of blooming trees, this beautiful table creates a relaxed vibe which invites conversation and shared experiences. We are crazy for our new Suddenly Seymour linen which parallels the look in this tablescape. It highlights whimsical bright florals printed on a creamy background. Adding stone aqua china, gold rimmed chargers and elegant champagne coupes completes the set up and adds a magical touch to this gorgeous look.

This season, Dutch Master prints are all the rage in tablecloths and in decor components. Mosaic now carries a vibrant cotton Dutch Master floral as well as an opulent velvet version of this European classic. Taking inspiration from this crowd-pleasing new linen, we found a tablescape that is both modern in feel, but inspired by European tradition. Dutch blue tapers, earthly opulent florals and distinct bold glassware pull this tablescape together to create an original backdrop for celebration, no matter whether you are celebrating in Amsterdam or upstate New York!

We love a great sharing table! Based on feedback we are getting,  these table configurations will remain a strong component of event design this spring. In the photo inspiration above, a long table set in the meadow which is accented by burlap, bistro lights and seafoam tones creates a relaxed warmth. Our blooming branches linen would be the perfect addition to this tablescape, reflecting the great outdoors with its natural floral motif. Bamboo flatware, aqua glass chargers and striped ceramic dinner plates complete the look. Once set with all these incredible components, it’s time to invite guests to celebrate together at one grand table, sharing lively conversation as day turns to dusk.
